Holiday Fun

It's been great seeing everyone over the past couple of weeks. There's been a lot of good times, good food, and here are some good shots of the little guy among others. He is 3 months old now and really starting to grow, as well as blowing out lots of diapers... maybe that's what he's smiling about!

Two Month Check UP

Hello! Quick written update (more pictures later, promise). Elliot had his two month check up today. The first snowy day of the year too! The doc said he's perfectly healthy. 75th percentile in weight. I think he'll be a big boy. He was great in the office too. I think it was a little misleading because even at home he's not that well behaved. :) Hope everyone had a great week!! More pics to come....

Our Turkey Turns Two Months...

Hopefully everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! Elliot enjoyed his usual diet of milk of course, but also got to see a lot of family. He turned two months on Saturday. We are all looking forward to seeing more family over Christmas! Here are some pictures of his new cousin Joshua, just six weeks older and his three year old cousin Maddie. Patrick helped put up some Christmas lights at my parents house and got to see some old friends.
Elliot has been doing very well. He is definitely more predictable at two months. Although, he still has many crying spells and loves to be held. Edy loved all the attention over the holiday and has found a new napping spot on Patricks slippers.
It was Chris' birthday too! The picture is great. It takes skill to hold two kids(especially Claire right now) and blow out birthday candles.

Growing

Elliot will be 7 weeks old tomorrow. He is starting to like having time to himself on his musical blanket, and he is also eating more and sleeping longer... though, nowhere near through the night yet!

It's On (Cont.)

More pictures

It's On

Stealing the Southwest slogan, It's On! We are in full baby mode here, esp. with both of us rotating 8 hour work shifts and solo baby duty shifts. I think we've finally truly realized we're not watching someone else's kid for awhile. This is it. We're it. It's sounds silly but I'm sure parents can relate. Anyway, included here are some shots from Halloween and some portraits taken at Penney's when he was two weeks old. Enjoy -Patrick & Maureen

Camera

Just posting a picture using a different camera... our movie cam seems to produce blurry pictures quite a bit.

What day is it?

Whew...what day is it?? Its funny how you lose track of time right away. Elliot has been pretty good. He slept for three hours straight yesterday! (a new record)..He definitely tells us what he likes and doesn't like with his funny "grunts." I like to say he's definitely on the man track with grunts farts and poops! Sleep has been difficult but we are trying to get him into a routine. We got his 2 week pictures taken and we can't wait to pick them up. We also picked out his Halloween costume-but its a surprise! I tried to find something scary for Halloween-but everything was already picked over. Edy has been good around Elliot just a bit jealous but nothing serious. She'll just drop a toy on your lap if she's feeling slighted. Here are some more recent pictures! My sister is wearing a mask because she had a cold and wanted to visit-thanks for wearing that! (it was her idea!) I will post more pictures later but hear him grunting...not a good sign..

Family Time

Okay....update. Elliot is doing great. He loves to sleep during the day and be awake at night..We're trying to get him on a schedule. Other than that-he's a wonderful baby. Edy is adjusting and is a little jealous, but we are working on it. Its wonderful that Patrick has until November to stay home and get to know him. I start my job November 1st and just don't know how I'll handle being away from him him for 7 hours or so. He is two weeks today at 7:49p.m. I can't believe it. I want him to stay little forever. I also want to sign him up for some swimming classes during the winter. Its important to me that we get out and aren't cooped up in the house. Thanks to family for helping out these past two weeks. It has been wonderful. We still have food in the fridge-it is a blessing.
We plan on going to my parents October 30th for some Halloween festivities. If anyone hasn't seen Tilson street during Halloween, your missing out!! Hope all is well with our families.

What a Weekend!

Here are a couple of pictures from the weekend. We decided to post one of Edy as well. Her favorite pastime now is baseball in the backyard.

We had an amazing weekend of baptisms, spending it with family. We are so honored to be Joshua's godparents and Patrick is tickled pink to be Claire's godfather. It was so nice to see everyone. Thanks to Kree for lending Patrick an oil-free shirt!
We are really looking forward to the arrival of baby Heber. I have a feeling that the baby's arrival will be past the due date. Went for a check up today and they said everything is normal and no signs of labor yet which I guess is good but at the same time I want the pregnancy to be over with! Many thanks to my sister for the "Machine"....I hope it works! I will have to try it out on Patrick today:) He will appreciate that.

Shower Time!

This past Sunday, August 23rd, we had our baby shower. It was held at the Braab House in Romeo and it could not have been nicer. We received lots of wonderful gifts for our baby-to-be. Many thanks to you, Bev and Mom Kasler for putting everything together; and it was great to see everyone else as well. Patrick had a decent time for being the only male there, of course, there was good food & drink, so that could be why! Take care all, and more to come soon! ...
